Rightmove Index: some excitement today due to the usual seasonal patterns
The usual autumn rebound in asking prices has caused some excitement today.
It’s important to remember that the Rightmove index is not seasonally adjusted and just looking at the chart below it is immediately apparent that the index is more volatile than other measures and there is usually a rebound in three month growth in October that rapidly disappears during the winter months.
